Sunday Salon – What to buy?
Lois at Lotus Rising had a competition to win a Barnes and Noble gift card and I won! Which is incredible because I haven’t won anything since I won a radio in a Ready Brek colouring competition when I was 8.
Now I have to decide what to spend it on, thank you Lois! This is a question I’m happy to ponder.
These are the YA books I am currently coveting.
Or I could wait and buy one of these when they hit the stores.
So what should I buy? Or have you read a book not included here that you think I have to read and own?
Tomorrow I’ll be listing the adult books I’m lusting after.

So many good choices…THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO TELL YOU was excellent. I’m waiting (im)patiently for DON’T JUDGE A GIRL BY HER COVER, so that’s what I’d vote for, but it’s really hard to choose just one great book to buy.

I haven’t read any of them, but I’m lusting after Jellicoe Road too.

Jellicoe Road is so awesome. You have to read it. But I also cannot recommend Megan Whalen Turner’s Queen’s Thief series enough. The Thief, The Queen of Attolia, and The King of Attolia. Freakishly good.

I haven't read any of them either… but I've heard mixed things about Wings. I REALLY want to read "Catching Fire"!

skip Wings. Talk about overhyped. I want my two hours and my 12 bucks back.

Hey Alexa,
You were the only person who was interested in "How I Live Now". I can mail it to you if you like. My e-mail is aigagnon@gmail.com so just e-mail me and we can work something out.

Jellicoe Road, hands down! Also Catching Fire, because I would like to live vicariously thru you. 🙂
