Sand Castles

More holiday snaps. We took a day trip to Weston-Super-Mare, a typical British sea side resort. Meaning it almost always rains there.

They had a rather wonderful display of sand castles or more accurately sand people. As someone whose hand isn’t even steady enough to paint her nails I was very impressed with these.

Anyone able to name all these icons of Britain?

  2. Those are awesome! Hard to imagine those are just sand! 🙂

As to the images – I think we've got the London Bridge, William Shakespeare, the Beatles, the Sealy Sheep… maybe Henry VIII & Winston???? I hope I didn't just embarrass myself with those guesses!

  3. Unbelievable! Very cool.

The Passage looks like something I'll have to read. Love that type of book.

Good luck with your NaNoWriMo. I've never tried it but have participated in NaPoWriMo several times, now. By the time the month is over I always say I'll never do it again but I always do!
