Just a brief post, to tell you all to check out the first few chapter of Rampant by Diana Peterfreund at the HarperTeen site HERE

Regular readers know I was a huge fan of Diana’s Secret Society Girl series and have been eagerly awaiting her first YA book, featuring killer Unicorns and the virgin descendants of Alexander the Great, who hunt them.

The first few chapters didn’t disappoint. This book looks really good and I think Bonegrinder may be one of my favourite animals in fiction ever!

If you liked Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Scott Westerfield Uglies series I think you’ll love Rampant. Even if, like me, a stuffed Unicorn was your favourite toy as a child.
